  5. I have had to cut this stuff before. The main problem with the carbon is tool wear, it's outragious. your only running 20 parts so it may not be to bad. we ended up using diamond coated tools! even the carbide tools will show wear after 1 or 2 parts. professinal plastics has a base guide for speeds and feeds. we used coolant to clear the swarf.
  6. +1 on gold +2 on the g50 i do a quick cal. on smallest dia to largist dia. if the dif. is only a couple hundred rpm clamp it. if not use g96 , or if the finish req. needs it use g96

THIS LOCKS UP EVERY THING AND I HAVE TO DO A COMPLETE SHUT DOWN TO CLEAR IT. HAVN'T FOUND A COMMON THING WHEN IT HAPPENS. SOMETIMES IN MC , SOMETIMES IN THE EDITOR. I ALSO HAD THIS HAPPEN IN X , X2, NOW X5. NOT SURE IF ITS A GRAFICS THING OR WINDOWS THING. RUNNING WINDOWS XP ALL CURRANT. VIDIO CARD NVIDIA QUADRO FX370 THANKS IN ADVANCE KEN.
  11. I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A LONG TIME. I USE 2 DIFF. POSTS, ONE THAT CREATES THE SUB PRG'S WITH THE TOOL INFO. THEN ANOTHER THAT JUST POSTS THE TOOL CALL UP AND 54'S EXT, T1 M6 M1 G54 M98 P101 G55 M98 P101 ECT. I RUN THE SUB FIRST AND SAVE IT UNDER A DUMMY NC FILE. I HAVE THE MAIN POST ASK HOW MANY FIXTURES TO USE SO I CAN CONTROL G55-G59 OR E1-E20 EXT. THEN I POST THE MAIN AND INSERT THE DUMMY NC FILE USING THE EDITOR. I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS SINCE V7, ALL YOUR SPEEDS/FEEDS ARE IN ONE SUB PRG. PER TOOL / EASY FOR OPERATERS TO ADJUST.
