  1. Does anyone have a mastercam x5 post for an Okuma OSP700L (cnc lathe)?
  2. Thanks for the reply, I know how to get the rgb for one color at a time, I am trying to get away from writing them down one by one
  3. Anyone out there have a list of Mastercams 0-255(256 colors) colors with the rgb numbers color #10 = 0,255,0 color #11 = 0,255,255 color #12 = 255,0,0 etc.... Thanks,
  4. Ok, so I did what you said, created it all by itself (the icon stays for that session and the script runs) and didn't save any toolbar then closed and re-opened mastercam. After re-opening I get a clickable little box where the icon was, and it doesn't do anything.
  5. Thank you, its installed and working. So I go to customize on the toolbar, drag my icon I created plus another (from mastercamx5)they both work. Then I save the toolbar, but when I close and re-open mastercam the one I created is gone and the one from mastercam I chose is still there.
  6. Anyone have any success installing Script Linker for x5 Everytime I try, it gives me this error...... A network error occured while attempting to read from the file: c:\users\****\appdata\local\temp\ctb4dd.tmp
  7. Basically if it could save every level to a file using the level name as the file name. I have a template i use to rename the levels automatically when i bring in an assembly (for exaple level 1 = det 1). So that would be nice if i could just get all the files to save individually (sometimes there can be as many as 300 that i need to save individually). But it would also be nice if you could use the level sets to control what gets saved, what doesn't get saved and to create new folders. Like if the level set = blank or 0 it won't save, but if the level set = 1 on a bunch of different levels, it will save them all idividually in a new folder called 1. If the level set = 2,3,4,5, etc.... Same thing as 1 but the folder would be called 2,3,4,5, etc.... (or whatever the level set name is).

  9. I am looking for a way to automate saving multiple files in mastercam. Like if i could run a vb script or C-hook that would save each level that contains entities, to a new mastercam file.
  10. I did some tests and this one definitely works better. Seems like you've done this before. I think it would be cool to learn this stuff do you know of any good tutorial on vb scripts thanks again for the great post
  11. It is working but it doesn't seem to be picking all the visible arcs. I have tried deleting duplicates, combining views, turning on one level at a time, and bOnlyCircles to = true and false (false comes up with more but not all visible ones). If i put, .Add 0.398 , 55 it only picks up 60 of the 115 arcs. Any ideas would be great.
  12. I wonder how the prodrill C-hook sorts them? It finds all the cylinders with no wireframe and it recognize their sizes.
  13. Wow that worked great. It would be nice if there was a website that had a bunch of these scripts to use as templates.... Probably could save allot of people time. Thank you very much. Out of curiosity do you know of any similar way to change the colour of different size cylinders? (for example different size holes through a 3d surfaced block)
  14. I am looking for a way to automate coloring in mastercam. Like if i could run a vb script or C-hook that would change a 1/2" hole to color 9, 3/8" to colour 10, etc... But i need to set the colors it uses for each hole (the color would stay the same).
