  1. I'm still working my way through the exercises in the book, and Have a simple question. In the tool parameters box, on the far left hand side, third row down, is the DIA. OFFSET. In some examples it is 21, in others it is 25, What does this numerical value signify? I don't see a clear explanation regarding the Length offset which is the very next box below it (always a 1 in all the examples) in the manual either. Can anyone share some insight regarding this basic inquiry?

  4. I am just learning to use Mastercam. I am very proficient with AutoCad, however there a few differences with the Mastercam I am getting hung up on. The biggest is how do I move an entity with out disturbing the rest of the drawing? In autocad, there was a hand icon, and you simply clicked the icon, grabbed the item, and moved it wherever. How does on do this in MC? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Francis (ignorant and unwashed)
