Okay then, hopefully it will be fixed in a service pack. At this moment I will stay using X6 because i use these operations a lot.
Another quick question:
I have a Intel core I7 with Nvidia Quadro 2GB, but the verify simulation runs very slowly and not smooth on X9. Even when we change the accuracy/speed. Is this also an issue with other users?
Thanks
On the WHAT'S NEW pdf about Mastercam X9, it says that the X8 OptiRest toolpath is now Dynamic OptiRough with Rest Material page enabled in X9.
When enabling the Rest Material page, it's suddenly not possible anymore to select FROM OUTSIDE or STAY INSIDE in the Toolpath Type tab. It automatically selects STAY INSIDE.
Is there anyway to select FROM OUTSIDE with the Rest Material page enabled?
And in transitions -> entry method, the Checkbox for OUTPUT 3D ARC MOVES has dissappeared. Can anyone tell me why?
Thanks
Yes, the old verify was much better... This problem must be solved. You cant work with this...
I think there is no option to change back to the old verify module?
HELP HELP
In the verify in the mastercam simulator, when I run my program, sometimes it startes reloading real quickly.
It freezes for a moment, the rough material which is supposed to be gone returns for a couple of seconds.
And in the left top corner it gives the message: Updating scene in background.
Is there any setting for this simulator to run smoothly?
Thanks for the support
Here i've got 2 samples from x6 and x7. How can i get the same result? In the x6 file he use core passes and minimun aircut because i use stock model. (start material)
The same i like in x7. But how?
The high speed core mill operation is not what i want because there you can't use stock model, and you get air cut.
thnx
TEST1.MCX-7
TEST.MCX-6
at this moment i have no file , sorry.
But i like to optirest mil operation with the stock model. The opticore is also a good operation, but you can't use with stock model for rest material.
So you get a lot of air cut. En that's what i want avoid.
Hi,
In MCX6 i like to use the optirest fuction, with the option to "use core mill passes"
(there is checkbox you can mark in the cut parameters)
In the new version, MCX7, I couldn't find the core mill pass function? or the check box for that.
Is the function removed?
Please help me!
Thnx!
