  1. that's it. versions no matching. I will just have to update.
  2. i am still using V9.0 works fine. But i have been getting this warning when i go to post something. Warning-unsupported function call Recompile with new m_*.h files, link with new m_*.obj files What does that mean? Has something become corupted and i need to reinstall? Or is it just a matter of reinstall an add-on?
  3. when drawing the geometery what views would you use. i noticed how mine is like 90deg off or something. This is the prob I have is to draw that in the right Cplane, WCS, and Gview.
  4. i'm kinda new to mastercam. i want to mill 2 flats on a diameter but when i do toolpath it is only milling one flat. I have tried several things and can not get it to mill 2 flats. the file is in mc9.....ORIFICE478CAXIS.MC9 Mastercam seems to do thing s alittle different when it comes to c-axis.
  5. thanks. i was thinking it was in the post processor. i got it to post for the one flat but i can not get it to due the 2 flats. when i select chain it doesn't notice the other flat and only makes one. when I try to do it again and select chain on second flat or even partial it only does the one flat or nothing.
  6. I want to activate G112 and G107 but not sure how. Fan.pst says mi4. when i find mi4 it is this #3304. Default lathe miscellaneous integer variable 4 (mi4)? 0 when trying to mill 2 flats on a part i can only get it to process and cut one flat and not the other. i know there is a trick to this. i'll upload what ia m talking about in MC9 folder file is ORIFICE478CAXIS.mc9
  7. file is ORIFICE478.MC9 I think i got it but a lot of warnings.
  8. I am trying to do the backside on a part on subspindle. But for some reason, facing, drilling aren't working. I'll post MC9 file in MC9 folder, if anyone wants to see what i am doing. All I am trying to do is face with chamfer, drill, and bore. Should be simple.
  9. I figured it out. to supose to use chain. Got it to work with 2 point. but instead of making one plunge it does a second with rough turned off. groover width is to groove size. how would you process the toolpath to get tool to plunge and be done.
  10. ok, i go to grooving and a select chain, then select the geometry then click end here then go to next one and repeat and it tells me the it say no points allowed between chani 1 and chain 2. This how i can get one groove to work but does work for the rest unless and do a new tool each time.
  11. No I mean I am trying to pick toolpath for the groover. I can select one groove and create toolpath for one groove but I am unable to select the other groove geometries for the same tool.
  12. I'm trying process a part with 7 grooves with same width and using same tool but I am unable to get it to process multiple grooves with same tool. How do you process it?
