I did get a help from Mastercam about the post problems. It seems that the educatioal department was doing it , not the post department. They told me that a post that works right will be on the way.
As for using generic post, I did not know where to
change what i wanted to change. Also this lathe has
different G codes than standard lathe.
I have cnc colchester electronic triumph. The post
that I got from CNC Software in Tolland, CT does not
work right and them seem to not want to fix. This
was 4 months ago.
I got that they do not have time to do it or do not
want to do it.
Yes, I did go through a reseller and got nothing.
I would like to know any resseller that would have a post that would work.
This all happening with mcam 6 off.
If we run just mcam 6 it runs ok.
If we ran mcam 8 or mcam 9 is when we are having the trouble and the trouble is with highlight on
the tool bars or icons at the top.
As for the memory, can not hair of a toad.
Thanks,
pei
Dave,
We are using mcam 8.1.1 and mcam 9.1 .
We have downloaded all the sp packs.
One problem we have is that mcam 6 is still
running on the computer because one guy does
not want to change and learn the newer versions
Thanks,
Phil

can be moved then 30 seconds later the toolbar
hightlight will move. It just does it in mastercam

We have a 5-axis Artran Machining Center with tool
changer. I was wondering if anyone has ran one
of these machines. We are having trouble with the
b axis feeding to a position, the head jerks the
whole time.
I know that Artran is out of business so we have
no service, but I am looking for someone that might have assembly drawling of the head.
