We just got this new machine in the shop and we currently use this subprogram: N52 (SN INTEGER 1000) G0G90G40G17G80G94 #102=#502MOD10000 #103=#102/1000 #103=FIX[#103] IF[#103EQ0]GOTO30 (#0) IF[#103EQ1]GOTO31 (#1) IF[#103EQ2]GOTO32 (#2) IF[#103EQ3]GOTO33 (#3) IF[#103EQ4]GOTO34 (#4) IF[#103EQ5]GOTO35 (#5) IF[#103EQ6]GOTO36 (#6) IF[#103EQ7]GOTO37 (#7) IF[#103EQ8]GOTO38 (#8) IF[#103EQ9]GOTO39 (#9) M99 to extract digits from #502 to engrave serial numbers. The machine does not like the MOD command/function. Does anyone have experience with these controls? Is there another way to get the remainder after division? Thanks, Max

Has anyone found a solution to this? I just updated from 2019 and encountered this bug. I always used to use the planes manager to associate to a point, but can't find any way to make it stick in 2020.

Thanks so much Colin! This worked perfectly. I wanted to remove them from all tool changes so that I could continue the program on the face of the part I finished the tool on. Thanks for the detailed explanation.

Hello everyone, I searched and was unable to find another thread asking this question, but I apologize if its been answered elsewhere. I am using a generic 4ax haas post in mcam 2019 and at the end of each tool it posts: M5 G91 G28 Z0. M9 A0. M01 I would like to get rid of the A0. to reduce cycle times. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
