  1. TK-32, Thank you! I do have more questions. I am new to the full simultanious 5 axis machining. I am not sure but our particular machine is table, table 5 axis and it seems that the info you gave as well as most of the info in my book is aimed at a B axis spindle. Am I wrong? I have been trying a ton of different combinations of the codes with no success. Is there a place I can find that can put most of this info into laymens terms for a newbe like myself?
  2. Is anyone out there running full multiaxis programs on a DMU70 EVO. I cannot get the code to run correctly. If possible, could anyone share even a sample of the nc code running full multiaxis? Also the multiaxis command codes to enable all five axis to move and track the working coordinate system. Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. I am actually looking to cut in the other direction. Also, with either direction there is a lot of "X" axis movement. You can see the X move all over the place when you backplot. What I am looking for is straight cuts up and down "Y" with positional rotation as step over. Every toolpath I have tried has given me "X" movement.
  4. Looking for some help here. I am trying to rough along the axis center (Y) without any side (X) movements. I have tried all kinds of different toolpaths, but i keep getting movement in X axis. The file is attached. ANYONE? DMU ROTARY PART.MCX-6
  5. Yep thats it. Thanks. I just need to dig into your parameters to figure out how you set it up. Thanks again for the help.
  6. I am using X6 with a DMU70 machine, full 5 axis. I can get through the surfacing but I want to use multiaxis to basically just contour the fillet of the blades with a 5 deg tapermill. We do many different types of blades, some can be finished on profile as well as the fillets at the same time with a standard ball end mill. I would rather use a tapermill for the tool strength but they would have to be done with multiaxis toolpaths. I am new to these toolpaths and could use some help. There is a sample of the blades attached. Thanks for the response. BLADE.MCX-6
  7. I need some help. I am trying to finish floor fillets on a stator blade and want to use a 5 degree tapermill. I am new to this and have not been able to find a good toolpath. Any suggestions?
