this one seems right, but mine wont open it, says its either a newer version of mastercam or its not a file format recognized by mcam,

well i got x6 hle what could i be doing wrong, simply double clicking the file opens x6hle but empty, then while in x6hle opening the idler+bracket file gives me that message

  2. Something I may get into shortly and wanted to get the expert opinion s of the emastercam community

Wat kind of surface footage is agood starting point for ramping into carbon steels

Also witch is the better tooling for something like this solid carbide or indexables

Or is a helix entry preferred, either or? Also curious of wat deg of entry is best

  3. Ive got all available views set up in the view buttons even ones I had to customize and save

I got the shade, delete, level manager, set up ill be adding the tool manager now,

Can our own settings be saved, say if I was gonna bring mine on the job with me so I dont habe to manually go through and re set up my buttons the way I like

  4.

You have 0.01 defined as stock to leave on Z,and Clearance of Z set to 0, technically a .01 crash. Set Z clearance to 0.01+ to get rid or warning.

Just finally got around to this again today

Ya that was it thanks alot that bugged me for so long

  5. Okay ive had this problemin the past and dont remember the solution or why it happens

The one with the radius I did the turn profile

And tells me tool will collide with stock

Well the other one with the angle I do the same thing but I get no collision alarm

I would upload the files but cannot at this moment will soon as I can

It rapids down to x0 when the canned cycle starts for some reason

And this happens all the time with a part that has a good size radius at the front
