Could you move the canned text to a different line also?

I never calculate anything, you just sort of get a feel for rough passes, (depending on) the cutter your using, how much (stock) to leave. Use cutter compensation (wear) for finishing (so the machinist has tolerance control). Remember the days when you couldn't re-gen surfaces? Or V6 posting and filter (running). Those days weren't that long ago.
What does this mean?

I did a search for 'tool setting macros' and found this good luck
-
"The giant" made it clear the you have to view you as to the machine as "normal". If you were back X+ would be inverted "mav"! Also 5 axis stuff is cool too because you have a lot of tool control with normals (and such). J Paris is cool. Shhh. I think he religiously contrubitues to the obama camagne!
-
I struggled with this too recently. I drew the part on X4 and I programmed the rotery operation on V9. I forgot how to save the tool path angle. So I stopped by master am interuppted his class ans asked him dumb questions.
Please don't create multiple topics on the same issue.I believe this question has been answered the same way twice now.
don't take it personal.... JParis is pissed that his buddy obama is running out of bright ideas on how to stimulate the economy and insure us. Shhhh. He must still believe its Bushes fault.

So much of this stuff is trial and error. you sort of have to cut a few pieces of graphite to figure out how to not chip the corners! cool magnet

I hate Peter GIBBONS his kid. I hate Jennifer Aniston his kids girlfriend. I hate Flanningons their favorite resturaunt!

If yo uthink it is, perhaps you should try something REALLY primitive like GibbSCam.
I hate Gibbscam, I hate everything about their egyption style icons that clutter the screen. I hate Hellen KELLER his wife. I hate Kimmy GIBBLER, his neighbor. The last thing I heard gibbscam made some Saturn rover wheels, that we don't even know if they work because their still in shipping....

We have this for a Mitsubishi (not fanuc) ba24 (all his cncs are successfully running on a wired router). There's network connection definitely, the network is connected from another building. I'm sort of confused on the 'filezilla' thing . I'll work on this.

Mastercam X5 didn't explicitly warn them that the corner could not be achieved, but he may have had a chance in V9 > X3 (if that switch was activated anyway).
I generally rough out material with a largerst diameter tool I can, if the corner was a. 250 I'd run a 3\16 e.m. so that the tool interpolates the corner and doesn't hit it full dia.
I'm not trying to be sarcastic but, (somewhere between machining the parts and shipping the parts) shouldn't you have inspected the parts?
Internal diameter(s) on a corner, first thing I look at to see what cutter I could get in there. I don't rember that alarm nor would I run it.

( may not have tried doing Chamfer on a cross hole drilled on a pipe/cylinder!!!)

I'm all for full machine simulation..... almost everyone has models of their stuff (like these chick vises). Drop these parts into your program. One less thing you won't have to worry about. Some of the rotary (& 5axis) stuff is cool too. By the time you have things bolted up machine stalk is clear. They've been working on this since some of those (V)9 seminars.

Cool part Greg.

When he first got the machine, one of the first projects was this cool (.050 ss). He was still r&ding the profile before we cut the dies. Try to picture two .500 pieces of steel, sandwiching 30 parts, bolted and pinned together. Program runs good the drop is the 2 slugs and the profile of the 30 parts. Oh and the part has a bevele (sp) in it.
The die guy makes some adjustments to the part profile stacks up 30 more puts it in his fixture gives it back and I'm cutting. Same progrram, the wire makes it to the sheet metal, and starts bouncing off the part, won't cut anything. I call the tech guys at Mitsubishi, its the flushing, vibrating the wire. Total rookie, maybe!
That was like part number 2 or 3. I'm sizing a die, and cutting the profile. Things are running okay, lots of work keeping up with the drops! This one hole, roughes the drop, g40 center of hole. I raise the head, I start to move the machine out of position so I could get the drop and SNAP! The drop was the same size as the hole in the bottom flush cup. It fell between the cup and the part, when I moved it it broke the lower cup. Rookie mistake.
I call Mitsubishi, what the hell lets order a spare, because theyre cermic, $800.00 for two!

Thanks Roger, I'm wondering what the veteran wire guys prefer for their codes. The training I got from Mitsubishi, was barely enough to cut a part. We don't have much time for test cuts, maybe a quick test angle and the material is always un-scrapable. Heatreated, ground, machined, tool steel.
I would like to not run sub style to settings.
-
The library's are there (x4)..... its the sub-routine format that almost seems to be the requirement (from the machine). That I would like to get post perfect. For some post adjustments, I could get working. Im not that good with "post adjusting". The local guys are reasonably priced for what I was asking.

I'm new to wire all together. I'm wondering what you guys have for a starter. Machine BA24 (2011). The owner is a die guy. I have been trying to get a feel for the consistancy in programs that this very code sensitive machine requires. (In complete arcs, R's). Draft. Punch and die drops.
My question is. Sometimes the (subprog) program is back and forth, change to finish settings on the reverse program back to start. Are you guys running post ready programs as easy as the (esprite) boys are claiming. I'm cutting parts with windows cut the code and paste the setting to the path sub? !

forcing the coolant shouln't matter so long as it's not on the same line. Some machines don't like double M code.

quote:To me it would suggest some gain adjustment has to be done at that end of the machine. The servos are not keeping up and over shooting as you speed up. Like any machine if the servos are fighting themselves then the faster you go the worse the problem gets.
Are you running a Fadal?

Is this how some of your progress meetings go?

It's a C-Hook. EvErYtHiNg is the same for surface creation in past versions. run your along chains then run your parallel chains.

I've never seen this on a mill, but if its anything like a broach, maching doesn't this operation need some serious horsepower? Its not hard on the screws? Broaches have that taper (ore lead) angle. You guys got pics? :headscrach:
