  1. Well, that is good to know. It just would sukk a lot worse if not wearing one was a factor. ...

Sounds like just one of those things that no one has control over. Destiny you might call it, I dont know. I try to live life to the fullist cause there aint no way ya can take it wit ya.

I am going to miss him dearly. He truly was a tool rep that personally cared about making you happy!

Not sure what is going to happen with Industrial, but I sure wont feel the same calling in an order.....

A couple of years ago, he funded a great lunchen spread at my place of employment.

  2. Thanks for verifying that I wasn't me having too many beers last nite!! LOL

This is why I'm having such a hard time transforming outta 9.1! I cant get the most simplistic things to work, how are the complex things getting done!

Ya think it is a BUG or something? I have ran my laser toolpaths like this on 9 with no problems... What is the bug report email? [email protected]? I always use "control" for my comp. He comps the laser beam at his machine.

BTW, How do you shut off the big thick RED feed move lines in backplot. I hate those.....

    Thanks guys

  3. ok, I have no choisce but to get my azz moving with X before I get left in the dust. I am having a simple problem with Backplot (which to this day I swear still sux).

I am doing a simple 2D contour. When I run the toolpath, it cuts completely around the part. However, when I run it in "backplot" it does not appear to cut on the inner circle. Or the 7.719 radius. It seems to just show it cutting a linear move in the X axis...WTF?

I have uploaded the file in the: MCX-MR2 or earlier folder called: 9260laser.mcx

If someone has a little time, can you verify this is happening to you as well and maybe why?

I dont know if it is a grafix card issue or what..

    Thanks. wink.gif

  4. Ok, before I go whining like I did,, maybe it could be a graphic card issue.

It seems like when I run backplot and use the "verify stock"...meaning watch each pass remove the stock, it isn't smooth coming off.

It's like before the tool makes the pass all away across the part, the stock is already removed for that pass!

And I hate those thick RED lines indicating feed moves. I cant figure out how to shut them off. I dont need those.

    I'm using a G-Force FX 5200 card.

    thanks

  5. Ok, I did a search to no avail. Beat me if I somehow missed it.

While in stock set up properties, I cannot find how to "chain" my 2D stock. It's like it doesnt exist! You can make from 2 points, I see the drop down menu, but I dont see where you can chain it. And yes, I'm whining!! biggrin.gif

    WTF am I missing?

    Running X2 MR2 maintenance.

    Thanks cheers.gif

  6. Karen called me this morning on my cell fone. Thanks John if it were you who helped make this happen.

I got the number to call him at his hospital bed. He seems a little "doped up", but he is in good spirits. Just by talking to him, I honestly think he would be dead if he was not wearing a full face helmet!

Since I got my Hayabusa,I always wear full leather gear and full face helmet. I always preach this.

We were supposed to go for a ride together this week taking a day off from work! I'm just glad he is alive. Dumb F/N cagers......

  7. Karen, I just got back from vacation...

Please call me at 978- ***- **** or cell

    978- ***-****

I tried to get ahold of you guys, but i got chris' cell number...

Get well soon... WTF, we were supposed to go riding when i got back from Mexico!!
