My pocket facing operation is leaving behind material when I preview it in Verify: I can fix the issue by changing the tool stepover percentange from 100% down to 85% but I don't understand why this is necessary. Does anyone have any insight into how pocket facing works? I'm using X6 MU1 64-bit. Also attached is MCX/CAD Input/STL for verify. Thanks! ModifiedAdapter.zip

I called my distributor to get the SDK. Google helped me find the developers guide, though it was kinda old. My advice is to get the SDK and use the Visual Studio wizard to generate some template projects.

Digging through the forums I've learned that it's possible to automatically launch a c-hook on Mastercam startup by passing it as the first command line argument: "C:\Program Files\mcamx6\Mastercam.exe" C:\path\to\MyChook.dll Is it possible to access other command line parameters from a C-hook context? For example if I wanted to specify a config file for my c-hook on the command line: "C:\Program Files\mcamx6\Mastercam.exe" C:\path\to\MyChook.dll C:\path\to\MyConfig.txt I tried running Mastercam from a separate directory but it seems to change the CWD back to it's home in Program Files. Any advice?

I'm looking to get started developing some custom C-hooks for MasterCAM X6. I have the SDK but I'm waiting on my sysadmin to install it. I noticed it includes some API documentation, doxygen based by the look of it, but no examples. Are there any c hook examples that I can reference? I've also seen mentioned a C-hook developer's guide. Does anybody know where I might find it?
