  3. I want to thank everyonr for there help. to see the proper cutter path i had to turn on verfy in the back plot. it still shows the line below the true cutter path but with verfy you can see that the tool is cutting the proper path. again THANK YOU ALL.
  4. i think i found the problem changed the ldefault.df9 to ldefltm.df9. but still showes the path below the part instead of on the tool line on the angles but calulates out proper in the program file. if i use the center of the tool nose raduis then it showes the path properly. if any knows why mastercam does this would you please tell me. i can be reached at [email protected] and thank you all for the help. am know trying to make post for okuma 5000l for Lc40 30 LB15 should have studed harder in school
  5. ok now showes the the tool path at the center of the tool but the z axis is still moved .01 in + dirc.where it should be -5.000 it is -4.990 the file is on the ftp under new folder [ 03-27-2004, 07:07 PM: Message edited by: collinsjr ]
  6. ver 9 tryed changing the t/c plane and get the same thing. the tool path is lower the the part. on the angles
  7. when i do a tool path on a angle it shifts the z axis and shows the tool path below the part. any line that is level is ok. if i come to a 90 deg, line it shifts the z axis .01. can some body tell why this is going on?
  8. First of all I want to thank you all for the help. The problem was just to simple. I was picking to many faces. i had a choise of three faces and it looks like i only had to pick two. For some reason it coaused the boolean calculations to go wild. Again thanks to all
  9. toolfab that was a good question. nothing to be sorry about. i have it down to the solid that is at an angle to the body that i am extruding to.
  10. wireframe is ok. and some of the solid. it apperes to be only one part of the solid. i have two faces that are at an angle to the front and anything done after them is in error. [ 11-20-2003, 10:55 AM: Message edited by: collinsjr ]
