Chuck, did you ever get this resolved? I am in the same battle now, except trying to bypass using a btr. Mine had the cable installed prior to my buying it, and at this point I need a pinout for the 40(?) pin end at the tape reader connection. I got a file from Yasnac but don't have an electrical diagram for the 40 pin connector to match up to their chart.
