  1. Hi all! I used x+ setup sheet, when I generated the setup sheet, tl_length_offset always shown 0. I like to know what the minimum length of the tool sticking out from the tool holder when i setup the tool. Thanks for your help.
  2. Is this Haas-VF3 rigid enough to cut Steel Material? Thanks for your input.
  3. Hello, I have a part file (U-Shape) in a progressive die. In the preform station, the part has to be preformed 2 legs up to 45 degree. I tried to unbend the part file up to 45 degree without success by using flatsuff, x-form squash etc... Can someone please help me how to unbend the 2 legs of part file up to 45 degrees? Thanks.
  4. Hi All! I am new in 3D programming. The die designer gave me solid part file. Shoud I change it to surface (no thickness)? if I use solid part file, which direction that I should apply minus material thickness, punch block(top) or die block (bottom)? Also, How do I change solid part file to surface? How do I move part file in position of 2D flat design blocks? Thanks for your help.
  5. Hello, I programmed a taper for die section. With a taper all around, I have no problem. But some die sections have heels(no taper) on them. I uploaded a particular die section in wire folder, called Taperheel.mc9. All i did was i programmed taper all around the contour and then i used change at point at heel areas. And then i edited taper at heel areas to zero and immediate button. Sometimes this works. Is there any other way to program this particular die section? Thanks for your help.
  6. Hi all Thank you all. Finally, I got G54, G55, G56 by using Steve's method. Steve, I just wonder why the work origin of multiple blocks must not be the same as the WCS(F9) value? So in order to get work offset, i have to put some value other than zero in work origin. Once again, thank you for your helps.
  7. Hello, Millman, Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, Mastercam wire doesn't have t/plane. I could not find anywhere in mastercam wire parameter showing the work offset. Right now, I just edit the program manually by putting G54, G55,G56 in the program. Any more help? Thanks.
  8. Hi, I like to wire cut multiple blocks on Wire EDM. How do I get G54, G55, G56? Do I have to modify the post? or Do I have to deal with Mastercam setting? I have been tried Misc. Value by putting 2,3,4. It only generated G54 so far. Please help me on this. Thank you very much.
