You must first have some type of geometry to trim it to. Then use modify-trim-surface. You can then choose curves,planes,surfaces,etc.

Bullines... Thanks alot....i realize what your point about 3D now. The thing is, if SSE2 is not used, then the AMD has a stronger FPU than the P4. More bang for the buck imo. My customer is leary about AMD for his shop but if it is fine, I will go with that. Thanks again for the speedy reply, Steve

I am building a workstation for a small shop that is going to be purchasing Mastercam. Does anyone know if Mastercam software is optimized with the Intel SSE2 intstruction set? If it is not, I may go with an AMD CPU. Any suggestions? Thanks, Steve
