  1. I didn't expect anything coming into this page except a bit of help and an answer to a question, not a tour of Europe, and or a sarcastic remark or comment. yes I can be more specific, that should have been your reply not some lame line of crap, but there is no need now, I came up with a answer and solution that fits my needs just fine. Go back under your bridge troll with all your friends. Good Day.
  2. I would like it for a number of reasons, other softwares do it so is it just a mastercam thing?
  3. In a five axis program when indexing from A 0. C0. to lets say A-45. C45. then back to A0. C0. the C axis stays at C45. I want the C axis to go back to C0. is there a command in the post that can be added to force the C axis to zero anytime the A axis is at A0. ?

  5. my verification is just running unbearably slow, I can not rotate nor zoom in in any reasonable amount of time, if I verify against a finished model I can take a long walk come back and it is still thinking?
  6. does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve speed when using verify? hard to explain but it is just painfully slow?
  7. Is anyone having an issue with saving files in x7 at all. I have been having an issue with auto save as well as just plain saving files. when I reopen them they are sometimes not the files that I am expecting to see? Thanks, Mike
  8. I am not trying to turn iron into gold, I am very well aware of what an STL is by nature. I was simply asking a question, as I have been hearing some companies are trying to do just what I am asking. A simple answer yes or no, or a guide to where it may be possible to find some more info on the subject was all I was asking for.
  9. I am trying to find out if anyone has had any experience converting a STL file to a STEP file that can be used for any modeling or machining or inspecting. Thanks
  10. It will not make a usable file that way?
  11. has anyone come across a way or software to translate a STL file to a STEP file?
