Hello since my mastercam doesn't support multiple surface toolpaths I need to create one solid surface from multiple surfaces and then create a toolpath from the one solid surface
Does anyone know how to do this and how?
Well I just figured out how to use my stl from my first operation to my second operations you go to
Stock setup page
Go to stock properties page
Then hit the question mark button right bottom of page it says you have to add a model to the machine definition page
Hello does anybody have any experience with mill turn surface toolpaths on a lathe with just X Z and C axis NO Yaxis
I have a cylinder with a cross hole on the OD of the part is it possible to construct a surface onto the cross hole going thru the OD of the part and use the surface conture toolpath and mill the cross hole with live tool , without a Y axis and just using the Caxis ?
Hello I'm am In need of a solid model of a Mori
Seiki chuck and jaws I could creat one but llooking for something more accurate I've looked on there web site can't find anything

Hello there guys I have a problem and cant figure out whatS going on I have 2 previous files started in MC that if I open them I can make a toolpath onto the solid I have with no problem , BUT if I start a new file and import a the same solid into it and then try to create a toolpath from the solid I get a error message UNABLE TO EXTRACT LATHE PROFILE FROM SOLID why can I do it in exisisting files and not new ones
what am I doing wrong any help PLEASE its a very helpful feature I would like to be able to use frequently

thank you very much that worked perfectly ,now the problem im having is that my machine only has a C axis but when I post it has a Y axis where the C axis should be
I have the C axis picked correctly in the axis rotation parameters ?
Hi there I am in need of a control & machine definition and post for a mori seiki lathe X and Z axis with a C axis I've tryed the ones that came with my mastercam (x5) and even the one that's listed on this site , I had better luck with the mplmaster .pst free download from this site but didn't have the G71 canned cycle in it ?
I've contacted the reseller but they are very backed up right now any help would be appreciated thanks Chris

Hello I'm running a Mori Seiki 2 axis lathe
With a C axis I'm trying to get the post to
Put a G99 G18 M45 at the beginning of each
Turning tool
As of now it's only putting 1 G99 at the beginning
Of the first turning tool only with no G18
Or M45 any help to where to look in the post would
Be greatly appreciated
