Hello, I just want to let everyone know how much I appreciate your comments . Sounds like when we getMasterCam, I will have alot of help within this Forum. I have used SmartCam for so long, I know it will be difficult switching but sounds like it will be for the better. Thanks Again.

Jeremiah, Thank you for your input. I am sure that when we get the new software, I will be on this forum quite a few times. I do have a close friend that uses MasterCam at his shop, and I am sure I can pick the his programmers brains. I see you are in oregon. I work here in Eugene at PSC Inc.We will be purchasing Mastercam through MCAM Northwest, Inc. We have perchased our DNC (cimco) from them and we like their service. Thanks again!

Hello, My company is in the early stages of converting to another CAM software and we are looking at Mastercam. We have 3 seats of Smartcam FreeformV10 now, and need to switch to something that has a support system behind it. We do have 2 seats of Pro Manufacture, but it has a very long learning curve and we would like to have something similar to Smartcam Freeform . I like to be able to modify generated toolpath or delete certain paths that are not really needed. Can you modify toolpath in Mastercam? I would like to hear from anyone Pro or Con as wewant to be sure that whatever we buy, is what we want. Thanks
