I feel sorta dumb for asking this but can someone tell me how to make a geometry level on MasterCAM X6 because whenever I make one the other level, it will either have 0 entities or won't let me change the viability of it. ~ LK FRONT BELLCRANK2.MCX-6

Well I know that you can get a better finish by using Surface Finish>Parallel (what I usually do) and then when you have your speeds and feeds done along with your tool, change your stepover and when it comes to the machining angle, go 45 one way and go -45 to get an even better finish(faster feed). Don't forget to change your Stepover on gap settings! Hopefully this helps.~

I would want to do this if this is still is going on if yall would let me. I can only use my school's MX6 but if there is a way to get an educational copy that would benefit me as well as this learning group. Thanks!

So when I go to my library to choose my tool, the tool should have my default things that I have set up but it always has 0 Spindle speed even though everything else is how I put it and even when I update the tool for the wanted spindle speed it will stay 0. Will I just always have to change it or is there a was so i don't have to change it every time I start a new project? Thanks
