    9.1 Bugs

Has there been a "re-release" of v9.1 that incorporates some of the bug fixes that were detected in v9.1? Or do we just apply the update patches? Thanks
  2. Thanks for the welcome...I'll do that
  3. Does Mastercam9 include online tutorials that work you through various projects? If yes, how are they accessed? Are they part of the regular help files or are they part of a separate program? Or are they purchased separately? Any recommendations would be appreciated. I use Solidworks for part generation and I've begun to explore how one learns to use Mastercam. Thank you.
  4. Another possibility. If you're using rigid tapping with no radial float in your holder and you aren't careful about spotting and drilling the hole, then you can break the tap because it is not concentric with the hole. The most critical part of the tapping cycle occurs when the tap reverses direction. If your machine does not reverse quickly enough, perhaps because of it's capabilities, especially in gummy material like Al-6061, you can experience problems. That is one advantage of using a "tapmatic".

I use Solidworks and I've begun to explore how one learns to use Mastercam to see if it's worth learning. Thank you.
