  1. I forgot to mention that the book comes with the home learning edition so that you can also get in some practice
  2. Hello john I am a fellow newbie that is starting to experiment with multi axis tool paths. one resource that I am going to try is the multi axis book that can be purchased from the store section of this forum. I haven't received it in the mail yet but I have high hopes.
  3. Thanks Colin, I will give it a try hopefully in the future this will be an option that they add in the parameters
  4. Is there a way to use two different ops and keep the tool from returning to the clearance height or the retract height and just go straight to the final z depth? I am programming for production and the extra tool motion will add more cycle time to each part.
  5. Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and I have a question Is there a way to increase the rpm and decrease the feed rate in a facing operation in Mastercam X6? I am aware that you can change the feed using the tool path editor but I would also like to increase the rpm to get a better finish and I don't see that option other than editing the actual code. can anyone please help me with this?
