WE are attempting to cut custom 450 stainless
using 3.250 dia carbide saws. The depth of cut is
approx .055-065. The trick is we need to do this with very minimal burrs. When figuring the speeds and feeds using traditiional charts I get
feed rates that are to high. These cutters have
128 teeth on them so that seems to be throwing me off. Can anyone offer any help on the speeds and feeds I should be using?
Thanks Charlie
we did update from manufacturer
it is a dell
If I back plot one pocket it works fine, but if
I back plot the transform of the same pocket the screen flashes continually
When I back plot, every time it moves to a new location get a strobe light effect. Did not
change a thing, started happening out of no where. x3mu1 any suggestions?
thanks Charlie
it was a spiral out pocket and after the first
pocket it didn't continue to spiral out to the finished wall it left quite a lot of material.
and I did not cut the first pocket twice or fit it
pocketing a small cavity and translating it
126 times, which I do every day. Today it cut
first pocket correct the next 125 were undersize,
so went back and posted same program this time
all 126 are correct, didn't change anything except repost. Curios to as why this would happen?
