  1. Since I'm not "ftp" literate, can I email a copy of the geometry (word file) to someone? I hope I'm not being too much of a pain here. Thanks!
  2. I get an error message that says, "this program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down" all the time. Is there anything I can I do about it? Thanks in advance!
  3. I have a Monarch VMC with a Mark Century controller. It uses G54's, but if you set your wcs with "auto offset" command, the register it puts the coordinates into is seen as E offsets in the program. How do I change it so the output says "E1" instead of G55? I'm using a Monarch post. Thanks for your help!
  4. I have a Monarch with a Mark Century controller, and the post is nearly perfect. But I like to use E1-E40 (fixture offsets) instead of G55, 56, etc. Is there a way to change from G50's to E's? Thanks in advance!
  5. I chained the bottom geometry (around the bosses), then chain 2, 3,4 yada yada around the tops of the bosses, set depths of cut, and set pocketing to island facing. It cut around the bosses, but did not cut the tops of the bosses. Should I "mode" the bosses?Any Idea what I'm doing wrong? I tried to copy & paste the part here, but paste wasn't an option in this dialog box. Thanks in advance!
  6. Can anyone out there tell me how to change the mpfan.pst (or ezpst) so that it outputs a G55, or an E1? If I seem nervous editing a post, it's cuz I am. Thanks! (this forum is GREAT!!)
  7. I should have mentioned that I'm using level 1, sorry! But I've tried chaining the geometry that goes around the top of the boss (Just a simple pocket), then chaining the geometry at the floor, around the bosses. I also change the depth from abs to inc, & give it a max depth of cut. I also tried Trevor's suggestion, but it didn't work. This problem has been driving me nuts for quite a while.
  8. I know this may sound stupid, but I'm having a problem getting Mcam to pocket a part, but miss and clean up bosses protruding from the bottom of the pocket (which are below the top of the part). The tool path only machines to the top of the pocket. What am I doing wrong? I'm using 8.1 Thanks!! ------------------
