  6. Rick.....thanks for your input if windows xp is the culprit wot measures you can take to avoid the slow processing of Cad data.........so that you can print faster through mastercam plot function
  7. they are just printing simple straight out A1 with borders arounds it........ they are printing it to a local printer it was working fine before.....they recently changed the drive belt on the printer and upgraded their system to windows xp..... they have also tried to increase the baud rate but that hasnt worked......
  8. One of our clients is having the following issue: He is trying to print a graphic file in Mastercam and for some reason its taking a long time to process the job. Is there something wrong with the printer settings or the baud rate? He has tried setting the baud rate to high kbps but this hasnt solved the problem. Any insights?
  9. btw its an AGIE wirecut machine
  10. Good Morning Guys............ One of our prospect customers in NewZealand has previously used Smartcam Wire and liked the ease of use of the system. He made the following comments: 1. Snugless cuts - he doesnt like the method of Mastercam v9; oblong slot cutting line.....he says this method is slow. 2. Of the five options for nibbling out from the hole.....he doesnt like any of them.....assuming he is comparing to smartcam wire 3. In the Mastercam Wire manual there is a page.......warning ->>>>>> checking and correcting for slivers...........for some reason this statement didnt impress him 4. Mastercam offers 6 different cutting options...... he didnt like any of them and none of them were simple and easy to use as smartcam wire which had features that allowed him to change power settings at any point and time on toolpaths.....he liked this control element very much 5. They do a lot of press tools and he felt that the drawing power of Mastercam was unecessary complicated 6. His old smartcam system has no vertical lines and end point requirements. It was all automatic................no wall offset and no need to redraw 7. Also Mastercam offers very few chaining options Certainly appreciate your comments relative to version 9 and some of this issues may be substantially different to version x Could you please give me some insights? Thanks, Samir
  11. he is using version 9.1 the customer says he cant change to graphics view nor can he zoom into....... any ideas y?
  12. when checking the toolpath using the verify after processing i can't change the graphics view. any way to do this. version 6 was much better
  13. What i would like to know is..... Can Mastercam output in Mazatrol language other than G code using a chook or an addon software? I was told Mazatrol language programming is 50% faster than gcode programming. Am i right? if yes could you please give me the details of the software that can do that? Thanks
