Hi all, Recently, I had to cut a shape on a cylinder and using the true 4 axis hass index. When I post out using the generic Hass 4axis post, I got all these huge feed rate (f1000. etc..) when A axis move and the machine give me a alarm (over feed rate for the index). I had try G94, G93...but still got the alarm. I try to fix the post to change feedrate to min./deg... and so on.. but nothing work. Have to end up remove thousand of those feedrate manually to get the part done but I think it's not accurate. Anyone out there can give me some advise? THanks.

Hi All, Currently i'm using MX3. I'm having a problem when I switch machine and using the operation of previous machine. I change the .mmd and post but when I post, sometime it only come out partial of the operation. I went back and doule check all,regenerate, verify... all seem correct. But it only post a partial. Can you guys helps? Thank

Great tutor Degmc but dummy me. I got stuck in the last step, I can not change the Mill_inch.mcx back to the defaults file. I rename it to Mill_inch.DEFAULTS but files type still in MCX. When I open the mastercam, it cannot find the files. How do I do it now? Thanks

Hi Mike, I don't understand what you mean? I'm using on the Haas CNC. When I go to general machine parameter, If I turn on the coolant so the post will read,it doesn't stick in my operation. If I turn on the other, it also turn on in my operation but it doesn't post out. I'm turn on each time now but I guess one way is to build tool lib. and turn on in the tool list.

I try all of the above and it's not sticking. I have to set the coolant all each time. Any new suggestions? Thanks guys.

Hi EazyE, Thanks for the reply. I understand what you said, but I need difference thing. Each time, I turn on the MX2, it taked the machine group with the property and control file from the old machine I used to work on. I had to replace it with the new .mmd. I want the Mastercam leave it blank, then I can choose whichever machine I need. Thanks

Everytime I open the MX2, the machine group will get the old property. How do I set the Mastercam so it will let me choose the one I want?. Thanks
