Ok, I can not figure it out. I am wanting to thread mill on a slant bed lathe with c-axis. It has an Fanuc controller. This is what I get. G0 T0303 M23 G0 G54 X20. Z10. C90. G97 S2000 M52 G98 G1 F6.16 G41 G40 G28 U0. W0. H0. M55 T0300 M30 I am using C:mcamxcnc_machineslathes c-axis Slant bed.lmd. I am trying to prove to a customer that Mastercam is the software that he needs to buy with our machines. Thanks in advance.

Does anybody have a side by side comparison of these 2 controllers?

Which controller do you prefer and why. Reason for asking: I work for Vanguard Machine and we are trying to determine if the cost difference is worth going ahead and ordering the machines with the 18 controller.

Troy, The machine will run a program perfectly, but the problem is getting a program loaded. Before we can hit send on our shop link, the control errors out because of the "h"'s on the screen. Do you know what part it is that causes the "h"'s?

I can make it type lower and upper case "h". and any other letter will do the same. But when you type something on the screen it will put lower case "h" mixed in with the edit. If you are stand in at the control watching it, it puts a lower case "h" on the screen every 2 seconds. If you hit reset it clears the "h"'s and starts all over again. Thanks for your help

We have a VF5 that was made in 6-99. The controller keeps typing lower case "h" across the bottom of the screen. We have figured out that it is not a button stuck because it would type Upper case. I really need this machine. Is there anybody out there that has had this problem and knows a quick fix to it? I would like to all so say that this forum is one of the greatest tools I have every come across on the net. There is alot of great guys on here that i learn from on a dailt basis. Thank you all.

Weare needing help from somebody out there. I need and eagle that I can scale, project and engrave onto a lid of a custom made smoker. We are making a smoker and donating it to a local highschool. They are the Brock Eagles. Is there anybody out there that can help us? Thanks, Dan

All right guys, you all helped me before on getting me a profile of Texas for me to engrave.( it worked great by the way). I am now trying to find a dtailed Angel that I can engrave on a on a name plate for my daughters room. ( her name is Angel.....) I already owe some people here some steaks when they come to Texas. If you help me out on this I will by the beer also.......hahaha Thanks Dan
