Well I am working in an automobile company and now they want me to run cnc-lathe coz I have some previous experience. A guy is giving me training how to setup machine, tool offsets and he is doing good. But I want to study at home also. That's why I am looking more information about it. Thanks.

Hi all, I am new to CNC, and learning to operate Okuma CNC Lathe LFS12-2SP (2 chucks and 2 turrets with 2 Loaders). Once my trainer start machine I saw on the screen OSP-U100. I think this is its operating system. Can I get more information about this machine how to operate, how to use panel buttons etc. I searched on Google but could not find any information. Thanks

Is it possible to use Canned cycle in Lathe and it generates codes G72 for roughing of face and G71 for roughing on diameter on the same workpiece. I tried but it only generates G71. I know it sounds like a very basic question but I have to learn, it is MCAM 9.0 Thanks.

Thanks for all of you, I was just curious about Linux version because sometimes Windows gets viruses, security holes problems, patches from microsoft also sometimes create bugs. I also dont use much Linux and most of the time work on Windows, I saw mastercam at my friend's computer, I sometimes go there and use it, and while creating drawings, windows gets hang and everything losts. Once again Thanks. I have some questions which I am going to post now.

Does mastercam have linux version ?
