I am trying to cut a rail on the CNC machine and I am having a custom tool bit made for it. Is it possible to import a profile maybe from autcocad or another cad software to ad to my tool profile so I can run the machine properly. Thank you.

I have router pro. i was just thinking about that but on some of th narrower part where it might end at a point do i need engraving software so that the tool rises at the end.

Do I need Engraving Software to put in some lettering on a piecec of wood or can I do it with the router software.

Is there a way to view and send files to a CNC device from a PC that does not have Mastercam installed on it? Is there something that mastercam can supply to install on that PC to do what we want?

is there a way for me to save a certain operation seperately so that i can bring it up or like load it up when i want to?

if i open the file on the prgrom file editor, can i send it to the machine?

I mean to send it and run it on the machine without reopenning the mastercam program so if i am not here someone can just click on it and send it to the machine

Well I still have not found a way to run the nc files without havign to reopen mastercam. anyone out there can help.lol I wasnt yelling just a mistake sorry

WELL I MEAN TO POST THEM I MEAN SENDING THEM TO THE MACHINE WITHOUT HAVING TO REOPEN THE MASTERCAM PROGRAM. IS THERE A WAY TO CLICK THE FILE EDITOR AND SND THE FILE TO THE ROUTER?

I WORK ON AUTOCAD AND MOVE THE FILES TO MASTERCAM. THEN I SAVE THE MC9 FILES AND THE NC FILES. IS IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO RUN THE NC FILES THATS ALREADY BEEN SAVED WITHOUT HAVING THE NEED TO REOPEN MASTERCAM ALL THE TIME.

how can i or can i save a mastercam file as a samller file without necessarily zipping/compressing thefile to save disk space.? thank you
