  1. I took your advise and downloaded some of your files and looked at others. I didn't take much time looking at them, but I am somewhat humbled. I do have a question concerning the program: ISKANDER GEO METRY TOOL 7. Tool # 8 is a slot mill, you us it in 2-contour to cut a slot past the cutters diameter. How is this possible? Do you have some kind of mystical quill on your machine that disappears as the cutter travels through the part? Or does the molecules in the steel change as the cutter and quill pass through and when finished re-align themselves? Where can I buy a machine or steel like that, off the same person that Jack bought the magic beans from?
  2. Rob: Don't be like that, thanks for your help and it worked. A-ron: Nice try Sherlock, but your wrong! Ed.G and I are not the same. But the Good cop / Bad cop analogy is what I was after. But I don't believe that Ed.G was smart enough to be playing along by choice! For the rest of you ladies, thanks for nothing!
  3. The problem: When I check the program in Backplot. It will start to run the first tool path and then the image disappears. I tried changing different settings, but didn't get good results. I'm sure you will all be glad to hear, that I solved the problem. I found if I would keep my dam finger off the monitor switch, the image would stay on the screen! If I pushed it a second time it would come back up. Amazing what you can do with these new machines!
  4. Come on people, lighten up little! I thought you people were professionials!
  5. robk, It wasn't the unzoom, Thanks anyway! cadist, It's the full screen. I don't understand the hostility out there!
  6. I need some help? When I check the program in Backplot. It will start to run the first tool path and then the image disappears. I tried changing different settings, but didn't get good results. What can I do?
  7. I guess I play too rough for you ladies! Just having a little fun. After all if you read the posts I did try to help Ed.G. By the way Ed.G and I are not the same. Before I sign off forever, I will leave you with this. P.T. Barnum said; There's a sucker born every minute! "So, So long Suckers"
  8. Riddle: If it takes it's work too seriously, It has no sense of humor, Is arrogant. What could it be? Check tommorrow for answer!
  9. I happen to know that Ed.G isn't a teacher. He works at Burger King!
  10. Millman The truth hursts! Never argue with a *****, because after a few postings you won't be able to tell us apart!
  11. Millman: What makes you think Ed.G is a teacher?
  12. Ed.G Hay Old School Ed! I just gave you some things you can try to make your post work for that piece of crap machine of yours. "That you seem to have some kind of unhealthy attachment for!"
  13. Ed.G: What he pulled it! I don't believe it
  14. NO! Big brother doesn't want Post Questions! ( Rules for new users ) Ed.G Asked for a post. Even if it was a Mastercam post that wasn't working for him. Ed: Make sure the baud rate in mastercam matches the baud rate of the mill, you may want to try a slower baud rate. Go to Screen, configure, communications: set them to what you want and (Uncheck the Read PST parameters ) save config file. It was fun while it lasted.
