I using X3, plus I'm using my mpmaster post from X2. Why am I getting this file? I downloaded the lastest mpmaster post for X3, and getting the same thing. How can I turn this off?
I had posted this question in off topic with little response. Suggestion was made to move over here. So.... Has anyone used this material? I never heard of it before this week. It's available. Not sure what the one enginneer has in mind, but he asked if I had machined it before. Appericate your help.
Thanks for the reply. I was paranoid that I was going to lose my settings. Starting to download it now. Hopefully I can get IT people to install today. Thanks.
The forging die being machined on the cnc isn't to size. I scale the geometry up a factor and cut it. We forge brass. After the forged part cools off it shrinks. That's why I scale up my geometry. HTH's
Does anybody use the scaling factor in X for shrinkage. I'm working on a couple of parts and having problems holding size. The factor that I use has worked for the last 5 years.(Using other version of MC) The geometry seems to check out, but the tooling is not the correct size. The tools are not breaking down, checked that. It seems as if I'm not getting consistent code in relation to the part. It would appear as if this started in MR1 of X. Anybody else notice this? Don't know what to check............
