  1. Thanks. As you can probably see, I am an absolute beginner with this as all the metal work I did was by hand. I am in Europe now, so I will reply back tomorrow with more questions on progress if I get anywhere.
  2. It is a knife handle and I designed it. The idea is to do basic milling and the rest by hand, which isn't a problem. Go and copy it, I don't care. In the end, it still wouldn't be anything near the finished product.
  3. Forgive my DFQ, what is OD? And yes what you said I did, is what I actually did.
  4. Hi all, I am very new to CNC machines. I used manual tools until now. I have been doing a lot of trial and error with Mastercam. I can do 2D files without a problem and then all I want to do is a simple chamfer (45 degree) on two sides of the objects in the files. I tried to use guides but no luck. Please take a look at the attached files and give any advice you think could help.
