    thnxx fer the responses guys... thing is the hasp i use if issued to the school.. an i doubbt they be willing to go throught the hassles of exchanging... i did manage to find an adaptor cable that converts USB to 25-pin IEEE-1284 parallel.... cost me bout 15 bucks.. but works fine...

    my laptop doesnt have a parallel port to accet the HASP... what spec. adaptor do i need to plug the HASP to my USB port??
