  1. Hey guy's, just a quick question. Is there any reason why when doing a leftover pass, that I can stop it from trying to take all the mat'l(only in certain area's)in one cut. I say in certain area's because in all of the other surfaced area's it gradually takes the mat'l(0.015" cuts)

  2. Sorry guy's, I know I seem to be constantly asking

question's and not responding to any other's problem's, but I don't know where to go to find peoples questions. Also I have a small situation

dealing with a surface. When shaded, it has a shadowy area in the corner. I can't see any distortion in the surface and there is no self intersecting area's. Is this surface okay or is there a way to fix it. I've tried to surface it a few different way's, but a loft surface seem's to work the best but gives me the shadow. Also is there a way to tighten the surfaces to take up the spaces between merging surfaces to make them look better?

What I'm trying to do is, instead of cutting one

side of surfaces (ex.punch side),negative stock off, I'm offsetting the surfaces the mat'l thickness so that both the punch side, and the die side of mat'l can be cut zero stock left on the drive surfaces. I'm hoping this might help.

  4. I'm just enquiring about offsetting surfaces.

I'm currently surfacing a part, and have the lower half finished. Is there a way to offset the surfaces to have them not be as distorted as they seem to come out? I know that when making a surface, or offsetting a spline ect. sometimes they end up intersecting into themselves. Is this what I am going to have to deal with, or is there a simple solution?
