  1. Yeah I think so...not always sure how my program will turn out. Bit o trial and error, trying to avoid the errors as much as possible. Nice to get second opinions. thanks for the help, Glenn
  2. Did the contour thing but the draftman wants me to follow the surface. Also tried swept 2d wireframe and almost got it working. I am sending file to you Kannon.
  3. I have a tapered arc that I am having problems with. I would like to use a wireframe option if it works but am not overly familiar with these. Please check out "Glenn's arc problems" in the FTP MC9 folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Glenn
  4. I have two tapered arcs to be milled. Tried using wireframe - ruled with no luck. Any ideas?? I do not have solids available to me. Attempted to put in an FTP file. Hope it worked. It's under MC9 and it is called GLENN'S ARC PROBLEM.MC9 Thanks in advance.
  5. Mail is being sent to both as I type.
  6. If possible I could email you the file and you could take a look??? Not sure how to post on FTP site. Thanks, Glenn
  7. Not 100% sure on your idea there. Used a ruled wireframe toolpath which seems to work. Only thing is that there are no options for lead in/out and length of contour.
  8. Trying to toolpath a concave contour. I do not have surfaces. Have attempted to use wireframe revolution option but not sure how to use it. Any other suggestions would be great.
  9. well...isn't that much easier. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. Thanks to all and happy holidays Glenn
  10. I do know how to toolpath a chamfer, just trying to figure out how to draw it on my part for future reference.
  11. I did surfs manually. That was after I drew my 41 degree lines off the arcs. Maybe that's the best way to draw a chamfer/countersink?
  12. no email yet...Still learning MC so bear with me...where do I find tapered walls? Also wondering about another option, create-nextmenu-chamfer, should this not be an option??? Does it only work with straight lines??? Am I getting confusing??
  13. i just drew 41 degree lines at each side of hole and joined them. seems like there should be a bit of a simpler(is that a word?) way to do it though.
