could anyone tell me how to select the surfaces for flowline finishing and its application, I have never used it, what type of surface or shape would be best to use flowline finishing?
thanks everyone in advanced

anyone has an arab colleague?
I had 1, but he's gone now, He had enough time to physical acttacked me, because he was too tire and nervous during fasting season!!! Does it make sense?
It will never be the same when you look at a person that admires Bin Laden as a hero, makes me angry and sick
Sorry I am late..
Because of the attack in New York....sorry for all, but I still have no idea how should I can send you the file by email if you wish.
I have a clue to tell my boss that the core would not be finished in 3 weeks.
Thanks all, but still waiting

I have a core to finish, but I've never had a parting line like this one, can I finish it with machining? regular end mill, tapper end mill...becaude It's a pain to make electrodes for the whole parting line, will it gouge into the surfaces if I use an end mill to finish it? I already uploaded the file on ftp under MC8 format( baby-sled), any ideals? the parting line is the intersection between the yellow and blue surfaces
thanks everyone in advance

Why not "negative stock value"? I always use nagative stock value for electrode, depends on the habit of the polisher! use bull nose- very small radius or if your tapper is smaller than 15 degree, use tapper end mill, you'll have better finishing on the electrodes.

Could anyone tell me by your own experiences, which type of machining is the most difficult to perform on Mastercam? Production, molds, aircraft parts....lathe, mill, Wire EDM....which one is the hardest? I really don't know because I only work on Mastercam for molds, and only on milling, I don't know if it's hard on lathe to program?how about production? must be a well organized tool library and operation manager, with notes for every operation? a lots of questions....for me, just P20 for material, no tool changer...copper with electrodes...a lots more to learn. I think
hope to hear from all of you
To be able to....
To do the verification for finishing tool path without running the rough program, takes to long to get to the point that I want to see how the tools react
hello everyone
Anybody in here know Cimatron? which is the latest version of Cimatron? please tell me to compare between Mastercam package and Cimatron package for molds???
Thanks averyone in advance

someone changed the tool's lenght( fly cutter) without knowing what he had done!!!
I made and ran the program! on my birthday!!!
poor birthday!
Thanks to CycletimeCharles and Camguy
It works fine with holes that have boundary
on 1 surface, but there're some holes with boundary of one hole laid on different surfaces....so I ended up creating more undesire surface edges by using trim/extend and drag arrow to the edge of the holes ( there'are ribs close to the holes)
once again, thanhk you for your responses
Hello everyone
I have a multisurfaces file with a lots of holes in there, how can I block all of the holes in order to avoid the tool from getting into the hole? They are not on the flat surface, and they are all laid on different surfaces, should I go ahead create all surfaces one by one? Anyone?
Thanks
