  1. Yes, I'm aware of that but I didn't think asking if it was more or less than a regular seat was an issue because it does not include price. But I guess that's a matter of interpretation so I digress. Can I buy MiS as a stand-alone or do I need to have a regular seat of Mastercam? And is it just an add-in for Solidworks?
  2. So even saying something like higher, lower, or about the same price is not allowed...?
  3. Is anyone using Mastercam inside Solidworks? What's the cost compared to a stand-alone seat of Mastercam and more importantly, do they play nicely together? Having solids associativity on the toolpaths would be a nice thing to have.
  4. Thanks. We don't have that option. We do have a broaching kit for manual broaching but there are 20 parts to do. Guess we will do it the slow, safe, manual way.
  5. Hi all, been lurking for a few, this is my first post so go easy on my. I have a Haas VF3 that when I put it in M19 to lock the spindle and put an indicator on the machine I can see the indicator moving about 7 or 8 tenths of an inch. It kind of cycles every 2 or 3 seconds. When I turn off the brake it doesn't do that. Is this going to affect broaching a critical feature? TYIA.
