  1. I like to drink beer! A mixed drink isn't bad to have now and then. Not much time for myself as I have 3 kids but I really enjoy spending time with them.
  2. I know how you feel I'm in the same boat you are.
  3. I am an above knee amputee and have been programing for 6 months. There is no dought that I am the minority here. Most people would think that I'm a step behind but I like to think I'm a step ahead!
  4. We have been using rad/dia comp for years with Smart Cam. Now that we have Master Cam we went to Wear offsets. Do you think this is the way to go? After all what you see is what you get! ------------------
  5. This relates to the last question. Have you ever had backplot look good and then look at the part you machined have an undercut? (We had -.128 in the wear comp.) So far with Master Cam what I see is what I get however I have a part on the floor with an undercut. For some reason! There were some hand edits made at the machine, I saw the undercut went back to backplot and it looked mint. ------------------
  6. I have programed a slot on an outside contour. The outside contour had a 1-1/2" rad.CCW chained to a 2.343 rad.CW and chained to a 1-1/2" rad.CCW. Using a 3" dia. tool, comp in computer and control is left the 1st arc has no G03, then it goes to a G02 and then on the last arc no G03. Note the small arc is about 31° total distance and the large arc is about 303° total. How can I use wear comp if I don't have a G03? ------------------
  7. 38 and I started when I was 37, however I've run machines for over 20 years!
  8. Keeping the tool and offset number the same did the trick. Thank you for your help everyone!
  9. I'm using 8.1.1. I did use the same tool to face and to rough o.d. but the tool went home before it came back to cut the o.d.. Is this something I need to change in the post?
  10. Is there any way that I can face and turn with the same tool without sending the tool home?
