  1. Glenn, Thanks for your help, it works perfect now!!!!!!! Greg
  2. Is this true for the old style fs 's? If so Thanks. Greg 24
  3. Ron or Mike I just wanted to say a BIG thankyou again for you help with the post set up. I however still have a couple of details about that (Yasnak 3000G) post. I changed some of the formats around and got it to drop all of the decimal points, but my problem now is that I can not get the "R" for a G2 or G3 to read like this R6920 for .692" (but without the decimal point) it just puts out R692 and I need it to put 4 places to the right. The other problem is when it reads (example) X,Y or Z of .235" it just displays 235 and like above with the "R" I need it to display 4 spaces to the right with a zero at the end of it. If X,Y,Z and R have a number such as .2351 it will display 2351 like it's supposed to. I just can't get the 0 to display when I need it to(2350). I need it to make (using the numbers as above) 2.351 display as 23510. Can you please help in detail for these formats. I have tried all of the suggestions from the link that Mike provided and example from Ron, but cannot get that part worked out yet. I am still using V8.1.1, if that will help. Yes, I do know that the machine is very old, but I just could not pass it up because of the price and condition of it. I have been using it for about 3 months without no problems, except hand-typing all of the small programs in by hand. All of the bearings sound great and the ballscrew looks great and 0 backlash everywhere. I just got tired of typing and decided to buy a BTR board for it to speed things up a bit. Anyway, if you could help with the solution for this format, I will be forever greatful. Thanks, Greg 24
  4. Ron & Mike, Thanks for the GREAT help, I have just about got everything set and will repost update tomorrow night. Thanks Again, Greg 24
  5. Can anyone help me with modifing my post processor for a Yasnak 3000G control to drop the decimal points from the number format section? I am not sure what to change to make it drop them. I just purchased this mill and installed a BTR board on it to speed up getting a program into it (I have plenty of work waiting for it), but I need to drop the decimal points from the programs in order to send it into the control. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
