i see. i'm not getting those for sure. well i've found an asus 4200ti 8x 128mb for under 100. oem, but it'll have to do. just gotta see if i have the funds. thanks everyone for your help.

oh and btw, what low end but decent card would you recommend for mastercam? i've also seen the recommendations. i can't really afford a 5600 and my friend has a 128mb 4200 ti, and thats still over $100

thanks everyone. i figured it would be my graphics card. too bad i can't afford a real high end commercial card. i switched it out with a matrox millenium card i had around. 4mb goodness. =D and it doesnt lag anymore. so now i'll go out and search for a new card. thanks again.

i've just installed mastercam onto my system. its a athlon 1.4 with 512mb with an ati radeon 7200 64mb card running xp pro. for some reason, whenever i start up mastercam, the cursor blinks and keeps on blinking. when i move the cursor over the tool buttons, it lags. it doesnt move smoothly. if i try and draw something, what i am trying to draw something, when i move the mouse, i can see what i am drawing but it still blinks. when i stop moving the mouse, what i draw disappears for awhile until i click the mouse and then i see it. is there something wrong with my system or bad install or what? thanks.
