  9. the reason i posted here is because i want to learn on my own though
  10. umm i downloaded the mpmaster.pst from the ftp site and its alot differant then the post im useing it has alot more stuff one of the this is what you said a format line for the ''n_tap_thds'' but i guess im still stupid about how a post works and how to make changes like this i the post it has switches that you can choose to switch the rigid tapping to work from either the thread pitch or the feed rate but i cant seem to be able to make that work either
  11. HUM ok ill take a look and see what i can find and let you know if i have figured it out or not LOL
  12. hey guys can anyone help me fix my post so it out puts the correct code for the rigid tapping currently it outputs like this % O1 (PROGRAM NAME - T ) ( 1/4-20 TAPRH DIA. - .25 ) N10 T1 M6 G0 G90 G54 X0. Y0. S600 M3 G43 H1 Z.1 G99 G84 Z-1. R.1 S600 n_tap_thds 20. ,R1 X1.7446 Y1.3177 F183.35 X3.1212 Y-.9202 X1.5974 Y-2.0464 G80 G91 G28 Z0. G28 Y0. M30 % and it needs to look like this to work correctly % O1 (PROGRAM NAME - T ) ( 1/4-20 TAPRH DIA. - .25 ) N10 T1 M6 G0 G90 G54 X0. Y0. G43 H1 Z.1 G99 G84 Z-1. R.1 S600 E20 ,R1 X1.7446 Y1.3177 X3.1212 Y-.9202 X1.5974 Y-2.0464 G80 G91 G28 Z0. G28 Y0. M30 % if it puts out a feed rate after the first hole it will cashslamming the tap into the part i have figured out how to fix alot of the things in the post but the thing i cant find is that feed rate and how to get it to output an E20 ,R1 instead of the n_tap_thds 20. ,R1
