  1. Hi, Does anyone have an example of making a CHook op and adding nci lines to it so it can be posted backplot etc., I also want to handle what happens when the user clicks the params or geometry in the ops mgr. I made the op and added it so it appears in the ops mgr with a tool but I want to add some 5 axis nci (type 11) lines and be able to backplot and post etc., Also I need a way to re-enter the CHook when the user clicks on the parameters or geometry. I do not need to regen the op. Any help greatly appreciated, Thanks.
  2. Hi, I am creating some simple wireframe geometry in a CHook that can later be used to manually make net, swept or ruled surfs. What I would like to do is pass my wireframe to the appropriate high level surf creation function but I cannot see how to do this or even if these are exported in the sdk. All my created entities are single lines, splines etc., - No chains. In an ideal world I would be able to say something like CreateRuledSurface (Line1, Line2) ; But I'm sure that life is rarely that simple. If anyone has a fragment of code showing how to do this I would be most grateful. Thanks, Nick
  3. Hi, Has anyone noticed that Mr1 keeps the filehandle of the last run chook .dll open? That means if you are working on a Chook you have to quit Mastercam and restart every time you want to overwrite the .dll with the newly compiled version. I tried with the shipped Chooks, running one and leaving Mastercam running and then trying to delete/overwrite the chook I had just run and it was stil "open" even though Mastercam was now doing other stuff. If anyone can suggest what I am undoubtedly missing here I would be most grateful. Thanks, Nick
  4. Hi I have a XD8000 with ATI. I would have gone Nvidia but HP dropped it. The ATI works BUT do not use the drivers that come with it. Use drivers dates 26th Oct 2004 6.14.10.6490 Available on HP Website (I think this is their oldeset driver actually). The only problems I get here are occasional solid selection problems that I also get on Nvidia. Everything else is fine with X at full speed but with 9 I still have to choke the acceleration. Hope this helps - great laptop by the way and the widescreen suits X's op/solids mgr
