Using X2 MR1 still in the process of self learning. Im just wondering how to setup a check surface or non machinable edge(using 2d contour). I have multiple contours going along an face I don't want to machine.

Im new to mastercam and still learning it. Im just starting to get into 3d tool paths. I am trying to machine a 3d contour and when I create it it doesn't lie on the cplane. Should I use the curve contour or face toolpath? Any suggestions about 3d toolpaths will help Thanks, Kevin.

Can you calculate the total linear travel that a program is going to perform in MCX. Im just trying to get an average on how much my machine is running for my maintinance schedule. THANKS
