  1. You asumed right on my version, sorry I forgot to mention that. That sucks about the stock information. Sounds like a bug to me thats needs to be fixed. Maybe its better in X, but I dont feel like learning a new program quite yet. I found out what was wrong with the chain. It had defaulted back to the main spindle. And I needed to work with the sub spindle. After hitting reset, clicking on sub spindle, and then rechaining everything was happy. I have to say, after teaching myself mill, lathe has turned out to be a challenge. I think Mastercam could really use some improvements in this area. Thanks for the feedback. This is my first post on this forum, anb its nice not to get bashed.
  2. I'm new to lathe, and I'm having trouble with the stock update. First I was having trouble with the stock parameters changing on their own. If I set a job up for 5 inch stock, then close it and open a job that was set up for 4.5 stock, it now says 5 as well. I already ordered the wrong stock for that job because of this. My work around for this was to always draw the stock and chain it. Now I changed the profile in one file, and rechained it, and it is keeping both chains. I hit reset for everything and it still keeps this old chain. Now it keeps warning me that its crashing. Somebody please help me with these problems
