We have a tappered slot to machine with tappered walls different angles on both ends tappering down to a full diameter hole with rads at base, i.e 9.5mm slot at top finishing at dia 5mm with 2mm rad in bottom is this possible with master cam v9.1?

actualy i am running version 9.1.

I'm only using version 9 but there is a box 'optimizing cutter comp in control' but it is dull i can not select it... there is no tab for 'wear'.. maybe thats cos im only on version 9.

Hi I'm having trouble with getting master cam to let me use my control for tool compensation in the pocketing parameters.. I have read your advice on the compensation options and for contouring it does insert the g codes but for pocketing there seams to be no option but to use the computer compensation type.. Please help cos it is an absolute nightmare having to re-write the program from the computer everytime my tool wears.. Hopefully someone will just tell me im being blind and the otion is just there in front of me. Tony
