  6. Hello guys, I used to program mastercam in inches and now I am planning to switch to metric. If any of you have experience on switching from inch to metric please help me out. What do I need to do in order to program in metric? Can I still use the inch tool library? thanks, Datty

  8. I have an adjustable chamfer tool from 10-80 degree. I used 2d chamfer like you guys mentioned. no radius on the insert. When I verify on mastercam it show me that the tool cut the angle but when I posted it out and ran. it gave me flat no angle. on this chamfer tool I "zero" on the center of the part, is this right? or I have touch the edge?   9. Hi CaMmando, I used contour and 2D chamfer, chamfer. What do you mean the size of the tip flat? I seem to got it on the mastercam but when posted it out and ran on the machine. it's plunging in and it give me flat, no chamfer.
  10. Hi guys, I need help on cutting the chamfer. It seem to me that I have a hard time to cut the chamfer right. I use chamfer mill with adjustable 1 insert. The material is .300 brass thick. chamfer is 22 degree, .100 width, and .250 deep. Can anyone point out how to use the mastercam and set up on the machine to cut this chamfer. Thanks in advance.
