If points are from arcs ,try combine view

Screen->next page->comb view

It can be anything else ,like you changed geometry direction or toolpath compensation side or direction (unintentionally )

I never met such a bug and I suippose it can be aome mistake .

I support this statement !

Design with solid ,then convert to surfaces and

mill them .

Solid milling has issues and also not so user friendly .

Associativity to loose ? - you pay the price .

But ,if you`ll mill from solids ,especially 3d

sutface toolpathes ,be prepared to some funny things that may happen to you from time to time .

But anyway solids package is great thing ,and not so bad in compare even with Solidworks ,it has some great tools and it is stronger from version to version .

I believe when these situations arise you do have some loyalty issues .

And mine lie with the other 90+ employees we have here. One guy running bogus software could be enough to close the doors on the place. If he is punished publicly or not, I don't care. But taking food out of the mouths of 90 familys plus my own, becomes a major priority.

looks like you checked in reverse toolpath setting and used mirror instead of translate

in transform operation

In this cases I read a code before saying anything .

Or :

Make a code on Mc with patch and without and compare .

are they same ???

I do not think this is Mastercam issue ,may be not sharp tool or anything else ,like gouge check enter/exit motion setting

This is not a problem of CNC software ,this is Microsoft problem .

Even some Microsoft products will not work after sp2 patch !

upgrade to 9 and sign mantenance .

I`ve seen this and a bunch of funny and not so funny things in 8 (especially related to compensation ).

There are some funny things not related to verify too .

Like you set a filtering (geometry )to 0.005 and relation 2:1 and calculation time takes eternity .

You change your setting to 0.051 or 0.049 and it

takes 50 times less time .

I never make a lot of effort on verify ,I use it rarely ,especially in 8 it is not clean of bugs .

Most of tome I use only backplot ,but if I use verify ,nevertheless I still use backplot as a first check

Mc ver 8 ?

I bet you imported your solid from Solidworks or other Cam .

If so ,the solid discription has or can have a different color settings for faces and edges

It can have 50 edges yellow and 50 green and faces of different colors

Mc shows you one color but when it convert your solid to surfaces or edges it retrieves original color description and use it

I saw your original colors and I`ve got what you got .

Consider this not as a bug but feature ,that is very useful for me sometimes ,like when I get parasolid solid with changes ,colored in different color .

Create surfaces on the different layer on your model and you will see this too

You need too much for it to achieve and it is a serious hack ,JMHO

If this board is like my board -

pentium-s on the oldchipset ,you nead a card ,bios update utility and a driver and first of all and apropriate status of main password for

repairment .

The results can be unpredictable and negative and You can completly ruin your pc-board .

Use proper resolution (max stepover ) use order cuts by minimal distance ,you can change collapse settings ,can change bias angle to 45 degrees
