  2. well it is supposed to be cutitng at about -46 in z it is cutting in the air at about -97 in z i changed the lpz to .001 to compensate but now it is plunging down to -10 for no known reason i see nothing in the gcode that would cause it either i was thinking it was something to do with changing the lpz to .001 but still not sure will be trying it again today but am going to make the part below the z plane in mastercam and see if that helps GreenAngel
  3. Hey there we just purchased a copy of mastercam for our biesse rover 24 cnc. Figured i would say Hi to everyone. If anyone else is using mastercam and a rover 24 cnc I am looking for general advice in all areas of work. some of my issues are working with surfaces about placement of the part in mastercam i put a part in the lower right corner of the origin and the part is drawn with the base of the part on Z0 everything looks good in verify but when i look at the code it is cutting 2" above the part i changed the lpz to .001 in gcode file and heights are good but it is plunging really deep and for no known reason that i can see any info or links to info would be great. Thanks in advance. GreenAngel
