The post is a generic haas mill post. I seem to remember having to edit the post when X first came out to not post the A0. for our VMCs without the fourth axis. I have'nt contacted our reseller yet was just courious if the was a simple fix. I got the post to output G55.

We have a new Haas HMC with a fourth axis how can I edit my post to output A0. in my G54 G90 line of the program? Also how do I get the post to output G55?

Were is the check surface stock to leave? I am running X6 MU1 and I dont see were to set my stock to leave on check surfaces.

Since installing X6 my auto cursor and general selection toolbars keep disappearing. The only way I can get them back is to minimize the screen if I maximize it one or the other will disappear again. I have downloaded MU1 and this still happens. Is there a fix for this? Does anyone else have this problem?

Since downloading X6 I have been having problems with my auto cursor and general selection toolbars they will just disappear for no reason and I cant turn them back on. I downloaded MU1 this morning hoping this would fix the problem but it didnt. It actually caused another problem with my crosshairs the are color 11 I think they are actually the toolpath origin crosshairs. How can I turn them off?

I finally updated to X5 . Is there a way to migriate my machine and control defs from X4 ?

I did before I updated. It was good until I regenerated the program in MU1. It can eaisly be seen in backpolt. I should have looked closer at backpolt or used verify.

I am just updated to X3 MU1. I just wish mastercam would notify all users of major problems like this.

I had a major gouge problem while using surface rough pocket. I read through some old post and disabled the new arc filter. I hate updating mastercam everytime I get burned by something.

I am using a Nvidia Qoadro FX 1100 video card. I have noticed it will only crash when I press the S for step in backplot too soon.

Since downloading MR2 last week I have been having trouble with master cam crashing while trying to backplot. It dosent seem to matter if it is a large 3-D file or a simple 2-D toolpath. So far I have uninstalled all older versions of X and reloaded X2 MR2. I have not seen a differance . Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appericated.

I am not using parentheses in the manual entery dialog box. This is what I am getting the machine will read it with out a problem I just always get the code in parentheses also.

I am trying to isnert a few lines of G-code between toolpaths. The problem is when I post the program my code has ( ) around them. It does the same thing if I check As Code or As Comment.

I am using a solid carbide thread mill. The thread mill is tapered.

Does anyone know what size hole to create to thread mill different size npt holes. If for example we what to mill a 1/4-18 npt hole we drill 7/16. If you pick a 7/16 hole to thread it will just skim the top of the hole. We have been using cutter comp and adjusting at the machine. It would be nice to use wear and just fine tune at the machine.

I am running multiple sessions of master cam only two. I'm not sure what you mean by temporary flie folder. Do you mean back up files? I am not using solids.

I am having a problem with my file. I is a complex surface model for a mold. At first the problem was my toolpaths disappearing today I lost everything. X crashed I opened the file again and everything was gone. Luckley after my toolpaths disappeared twice last week I started using back up files. At first I though I my have deleated them on accident but after a few times I know its not something Im doing. I have learned to save frequentley and my back up files have saved my so far.

I have tried breaking arcs at quadrants and I get the same results. I have the same problem with flowline or parallel. I am running a haas using the mphaas updated from 9.
