    I am extremely new to the multi axis programming and have very little prior knowledge of how to do so, so please forgive confusing questions. I need to be able to rotate the tool of a 6 axis fanuc over a part. I have tried to look into the G43.4 or G54.4 codes, but unfortunately the explanation of those codes isn't clicking very well with me. The ideal situation would be to have an axis for the tool to rotate around the part at an offset distance(radius) from the axis. Any help or explanation would be greatly appreciated. We have not gotten into the program yet, we just wanted to look at what we would be doing in advance.
